Welcome to our Project Safe R.O.A.D.s website. We hope you will find the information on older driver safety informative and valuable. The purpose of the Project Safe R.O.A.D.s website is two-fold. The first goal is to provide information that will help keep older drivers safe on the streets and highways of Onondaga County and beyond. The second goal is to provide access to information on existing transportation options available for older residents of our county who are no longer able to drive themselves.

We’d like to thank our partners in this project: The National Association of Area Agencies on Aging, The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, The American Society on Aging and The Academy for Educational Development. This website provides direct links to those organizations. We encourage you to utilize them, not just for older driver safety, but for a myriad of issues concerning aging and societal research.
