The Department of Emergency Management Respirator Fit Test Machine can be borrowed on a first come/first serve basis by emergency first response organizations. As a general practice, the Department will allow an agency to reserve the machine for a period of two-weeks. As long as another agency is not waiting for the equipment, arrangements for a longer reservation period may be possible.
To reserve the Respirator Fit Test Machine, please fax your request to the Department of Emergency Management (315) 435-3309. Include the following:
- organization/agency name
- dates you want to reserve
- an agency contact person and day-time telephone number
- the type of SCBA and manufacturer
