The Office of the Environment represents the nucleus from which environmental
policy, aimed at reducing environmental liability and maximizing effective
and efficient management with regard to environmental concerns, is developed
and executed.
• Develop internal county policies and procedures to
minimize environmental liabilities/exposures.
• Assist county departments with environmental compliance needs.
• Coordinate interdepartmental county response to environmental issues/situations
