The mission of the Onondaga County Long Term Care Resource Center
is to promote and provide access to appropriate and cost effective
long term care for all residents of Onondaga County; contain the
cost of long term care through effective case management for individuals
receiving publicly funded long term care and by supporting other
individuals in need of long term care to enable them to utilize
private resources in the most effective manner; to foster the development
of programs and plans responsive to a changing demographic and public
policy environment; to monitor compliance with State and Federal
regulations in programs for which it is responsible.
