The Onondaga County Department of Emergency Management Fire Bureau is accepting nominations for the 10th annual Deputy Chief Henry “Hank” Boynton Award. The Boynton Award is presented to an individual and/or organization that has made a significant contribution towards reducing the incidence of juvenile fire setting. County Executive Nicholas J. Pirro and Syracuse Mayor Matthew J. Driscoll will honor the winner(s) in early October to coincide with Fire Prevention Month.
Nomination forms can be obtained through the Department of Aging & Youth Office located on the 13th floor of the Civic Center, 421 Montgomery Street, Syracuse, NY 13202. Deadline for nominations is September 10, 2003.
