Syracuse ranks as one of "America's 50 Hottest Cities"

Expansion Management magazine has ranked Syracuse, NY as one of "America's 50 Hottest Cities." The survey, in it's seventh year, is based on the insight of the country's most prominent site location consultants.

Expansion Management surveyed 80 site location consultants. The consultants were asked to choose 50 of the U.S.'s best cities for business expansion and relocation. The consultants took into consideration the following factors:

- business climate
- work force quality
- operating costs, incentive programs, and
- the ease of working with local political and economic
development officials.

Syracuse, NY ranked 42nd, in the "50 Hottest Cities for 2005" survey above Buffalo-Niagara Falls area and the Rochester area.
