Onondaga County Executive Joanne M. Mahoney has issued a travel advisory in Onondaga County effective at 4:00 p.m. today. This advisory has been issued due to heavy snow accumulation, and blowing and drifting snow producing limited visibility and dangerous road conditions.For the safety of all residents, the general public is encouraged to use extreme caution traveling in and around Onondaga County this evening and tomorrow.Snow removal equipment and crews are on the roadways and motorists should adjust their driving to their presence and the current road conditions. This advisory does not restrict travel. However, it is provided as a warning to motorists that hazardous driving conditions exist.
