County Executive Nick Pirro and Commissioner Dick Elander celebrate WEP employees with 25 years of service to the department.

Congratulations to our award winners!
2002 marked the tenth year that WEP has conducted an
employee recognition award program to honor
outstanding employee service.
A formal ceremony, hosted by County Executive
Nicholas J. Pirro and Commissioner Richard L.
Elander, was held December 6th to recognize the
accomplishments of nine employees in five different
award categories. Along with receiving an individual
plaque, each recipient's name is engraved on a
perpetual plaque that is displayed in the front lobby
of the Administration Building at the Metropolitan Syracuse Wastewater Treatment Plant.
