2021 Early Voting Information

What is Early Voting?

 Voters can vote in-person before Election Day. Voters registered in Onondaga County will be able to vote at any early voting site. If you vote during the early voting period, you are not eligible to vote on Election Day.

 All registered voters can vote early. 


When can I vote early?



2021 General Election Early Voting will be October 23 - October 31


     Saturday, October 23, 2021: 10:00AM- 3:00PM

     Sunday, October 24, 2021: 10:00AM-3:00PM

     Monday, October 25, 2021: 10:00AM- 6:00PM

     Tuesday, October 26, 2021: 12:00PM- 8:00PM

     Wednesday, October 27, 2021: 12:00PM- 8:00PM

     Thursday, October 28, 2021: 10:00AM- 6:00PM

     Friday, October 29, 2021: 10:00AM- 6:00PM

     Saturday, October 30, 2021: 10:00AM-3:00PM

     Sunday, October 31, 2021: 10:00AM- 3:00PM

How will I vote during early voting?

 The voting process is the same as voting on Election Day. When you get to the early voting center, you will check in to vote, receive your ballot and cast your voted ballot in the Imagecast voting machine.


 There will be instructions available at the early voting centers to familiarize you with the voting process. You may ask an election inspector to explain how to vote, or if you need any assistance.


When will early voting results be posted?

 Early voting votes will be canvassed and reported after 9pm on Election Day.


Can I still vote by absentee ballot? 



 If you are out of Onondaga county on election day, or if you are permanently or temporarily disabled, ill or are the primary care giver for one or more people who are ill or physically disabled, or a resident of a Veterans Hospital, or detained in jail awaiting Grand Jury action or incarcerated for an offense other than a felony you may apply for an absentee ballot.
