The Onondaga County Health Department is currently accepting applications for the position of:
Public Health Nurse – Maternal and Child Health
Location: Civic Center, 421 Montgomery Street, Syracuse, NY
Salary: $51,140 - $63,040 per year (2019) DOE
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
If you have a passion for serving your community and would like to spend your work time supporting and educating families to have healthy pregnancies and healthy children, Healthy Families, a program of the Onondaga County Health Department (OCHD) has a full-time opening for a Public Health Nurse. Activities include maternal and child health home visits and working at the weekly OCHD immunization clinics. Candidates must possess a current New York State RN License and Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Prenatal/Pediatric assessment skills and Public Health home visiting experience preferred. Typical hours are M-F, 8a-4p.
