The Physically Handicapped Children Program (PHCP) helps parents access quality care for their children with severe chronic illnesses or physical disabilities. The program offers financial assistance to families to help pay for ongoing medical needs. PHCP is for children under 21 years of age who live in Onondaga County and have special health care needs that are covered by this program. To be eligible, applicants must meet both medical and financial requirements. These requirements must be reevaluated every 12 months in order to continue with the program.
