The Car Seat Program offers federally approved infant-to-toddler convertible and booster seats for purchase or rent at a low cost based on income and family size. Short-term rentals are available. New York State law requires that all children must be restrained in child safety seats or booster seats up to age eight. This program is sponsored by the Onondaga County Health Department Auxiliary.
FREE safety seat checks are available to the public by a certified child passenger safety technician. Call for more information or an appointment.
