The Onondaga County Health Department provides information and referral for those in need of dental health services. Calls are taken to identify an individual’s dental need and inform callers of local dental resources. Patients are screened for eligibility and referred to participating dentists.
The Community Dental Program is offered by the Onondaga County Dental Society for Onondaga County residents with no dental insurance who are in need of basic dental care. Patients are referred to a participating dentist for treatment at a minimal fee.
