Danny Liedka was elected to the Onondaga County Legislature on November 8, 2011. He represents the 7th District, which includes the portions of the Town of DeWitt and the City of Syracuse.
He also serves as Mayor of the Village of East Syracuse. He was first elected to that post in 2007, after serving two terms as a Village Trustee.
In the corporate world, he serves as Business Development Manager for Marriott International. He is also an on-air color commentator for Time Warner Cable Sports and ESPN U, specializing in football and basketball. He is a member of the Syracuse Sports Corporation and the NCAA Basketball Regionals Local Organizing Committee.
Liedka is a native of East Syracuse. He lives on McCool Avenue in the Village with his wife Kim and their young son, Luke. |
