In 2003 the NYS Agricultural Districts Law 25-AA was amended to allow land that is highly suitable and/or currently used for agricultural production to be added to a Certified Agricultural District on an annual basis, rather than having to wait until the District is up for an eight-year review.
Onondaga County landowners can request that their land be added to an Agricultural District between January 1 and January 31, 2010 by completing an addition request form and returning it to:
