The mission of the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office Civil Department is to exercise civil jurisdiction throughout Onondaga County with respect to the service of process, the execution of judgments, enforcement of court orders, and other legal papers and documents.

Our vision is to maintain the confidence that the public has placed upon us by continuing to promote peace and democracy within the community through providing high quality, cost-effective civil law enforcement in an effort to generate a positive effect on our community.
