War Memorial Honor Wall
Onondaga County War Memorial, 515 Montgomery Street, Syracuse, NY 13202

                                  Honor Wall

The Veterans Honor Wall is located in the second floor corridor across from Memorial Hall. Currently the Veterans Honor Wall is emblazoned with the names of more than 60,000 Onondaga County Veterans.

To be included on the Honor Wall, each Veteran has to be a resident of Onondaga County when they entered the service, or have lived in Onondaga County for the past five years and they had to have served during World War I, II, Korea, Vietnam, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, Persian Gulf War (1990-1991), Iraq (2003-2011) or Afghanistan (2009-2014) and be honorably discharged.

As of 2018, there is no longer room on the physical wall to add more names. As part of the War Memorial Renovation Project, Kiosks will be added to the War Memorial to view those who have served from Onondaga County. The 60,000 names that are on the Honor Wall will be on a Honor Roll on the Kiosks as well as any new Veterans that apply, and are accepted, for inclusion.
