    Onondaga County Healthy Neighborhoods Program

    The New York State Healthy Neighborhoods Program (HNP) seeks to reduce the burden of housing related illness and injury through a holistic, healthy homes approach. Our team provides a FREE home safety check for indoor air quality, lead home referrals, fire hazards, slips/trips/fall prevention, pest control, and asthma education to residents in the City of Syracuse.

     

    Included in the safety check are FREE supplies, which may include cleaning supplies, carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and MORE!

    What we provide

     

    Products may include, but are not limited to, buckets, mops, dust-minimizing cleaning products, first aid kit, flashlight and batteries, hand soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, outlet covers, cabinet locks, furniture safety restraints, mouse traps, cockroach bait traps, hypoallergenic pillow protectors, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and supplemental reference materials. Please note that products may vary based on need and availability.
