Have you ever received a text message from 911 that looked like a survey?  If you call 911 then you might.

In January 2023 Onondaga County 911 began using an automated text message customer survey system.

The system is designed to randomly choose from calls within the last 24 hours and sends a text message to the original caller's cell phone several hours after the incident.  This helps us by collecting data for quality control purposes.  There are a total of 6 questions which can be seen below.

Q. 1 of 6 - How promptly was your telephone call answered?  Please respond with a number between 5 - Excellent and 1 - Poor.

Q. 2 of 6 -The attitude and helpfulness of the call-taker?  Please respond with a number between 5 - Excellent and 1 - Poor.

Q. 3 of 6 -The knowledge of the call-taker?  Please respond with a number between 5 - Excellent and 1 - Poor.

Q. 4 of 6 -The courtesy of the call-taker?  Please respond with a number between 5 - Excellent and 1 - Poor.

Q. 5 of 6 -Your overall satisfaction with the call-taker?  Please respond with a number between 5 - Excellent and 1 - Poor.

Q. 6 of 6 - Please provide any feedback you have about the 911 call taker.

We ask that if you do receive a text survey to please take the time to respond.  Your feedback helps our agency provide the best customer service experience.
