Senior Dining

Healthy Eating

Dining sites provide nutritious meals in friendly social settings. Informational/educational programs, counseling, health screening, wellness and exercise programs are also offered at various Senior Dining Centers. Non-profit subcontractors provide lunch at our dining sites throughout the week, as well as some breakfast and evening meals.

Senior Dining is sponsored by the Onondaga County Department of Adult & Long Term Care
Services, the New York State Office for the Aging and the US Administration on Aging.

Three local agencies prepare nutritious meals for Onondaga County residents age 60 and older.
All agencies are ServSafe® certified in food safety through the National Restaurant Association
Foundation. A suggested meal contribution of $3.50 (Kosher - $4.00/Lunch, $5.00/Dinner) is
returned to the program to help support meal costs and expand services. Guest meals are $7.00.

No one is turned away due to an unwillingness or inability to pay.

Reservations are necessary to assure an adequate number of meals are on hand.
