Walk With Ease Program
Are you looking for a way to be more active, social, and reduce arthritis symptoms? Walking can help strengthen your heart and lungs, nourish joints, fight osteoporosis, reduce stress, boost energy, improve mood, and is proven to build confidence in your ability to be physically active.
Walk With Ease, created by the Arthritis Foundation, is a 6-week program designed to help you obtain the benefits of walking. This program is perfect for those with arthritis but can be a great resource for anyone!
While it focuses on walking, Walk With Ease is much more than that. It includes 18 sessions with discussions, warm up exercises and stretching, as well as motivation and group sharing opportunities.
For more information: Contact Chrissy Hebert at 315-435-2362 x 4618.
Our first program will be held from June 16th through July 28th on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10:00 am at Rosamond Gifford Zoo.
